💡 OpenAI just made image generation boringly easy

OpenAI’s new model (GPT-4o) can now generate images natively. No switching models. No extra tools.

Here’s what it can do:

• Create stunning, realistic images in seconds

• Understand and edit images using natural language

• Combine text + image workflows without skipping a beat

This isn’t just fun - it’s infrastructure. Think Canva on steroids, inside ChatGPT.

Greg Isenberg is a product advisor to Reddit, the CEO of Late Checkout (a startup studio), and one of the best minds online for spotting early product trends.

This week, he posted this thread on X about monetizing AI-generated images.

Here’s what stood out 👇

Describe your 1-year plan:
“Launch a product, speak on stage, lose 10 lbs”
→ It turns your goals into a clean, aesthetic visual collage.
$29 per set. $50/year if you want motivational reminders.
Feels like manifestation, but for product people.

2. Airbnb Photo Enhancer (I tested this one)
Upload your average listing photos.
Get back clean, high-conversion images.
$79/property.
Smart wedge into the 7M+ Airbnb hosts market.
Could grow into full-stack hosting tools.

As mentioned, I tried out this idea and it could well be worth building.

Creators upload their “before” shot—hair, fitness, skin, room makeover.
AI generates a tastefully aspirational “after” version.
Perfect for coaching funnels, ecommerce, or engagement bait.
$15/image or $40/month for batch processing.

5. Menu Makeover
Restaurants upload a photo of their printed menu.
Get a redesigned, modern version (print and digital).
Bonus: Add AI-generated food photos for each item.
$49/menu. Great wedge into SMB design-as-a-service.
